Ruth was born and raised in Hong Kong and received her training in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation in Edinburgh & Bristol from 2009-2014.
Receiving a DipHe from Edinburgh Napier University (2011) in Sports & Exercise Science (Sports Injuries), followed by a full BSc(Hons) Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation from Bristol University of The West of England (2014). She gained 3-4 years of professional experience in various facets of the industry mainly focused on Sports environments such as semi-professional rugby with a National II South West rugby team, grassroots professional football and private practice specialising in back pain.
Active Relief HK was established at the end of 2017 after working in a large private practice for two years after returning to Hong Kong. Growing alongside like minded people within the industry : therapists , gyms and trainers alike , has been a big highlight of the journey so far.
Helping people learn how to manage their pain, injuries and imbalances , and discovering the source of these dysfunctions is what Ruth is passionate about. She has a keen interest in sports related problems, but has grown over the years into the field of desk -bound problems and pre/post-natal care.

60 minute session where an assessment will be completed prior to creating a plan of action for treatment on & off table.
60 or 90 minute follow up session for maintenance work based off initial consult & treatment session.
30 minute tailored 1-1 mobility & stretch session to focus on real easing those high tension areas.
Ideal for busy desk-bound people needing some assistance offloading tension in their neck, shoulders, back and hips.
